Waterway Cleanup Project
Picked up trash at 15 waterways in four days to show how much one person could impact a huge ecosystem.
Starting in the Portland metro area, removing trash from multiple waterways.
Starting with tiny creeks that feed rivers that feed bigger rivers, ultimately emptying into the Pacific Ocean.
Accomplishments
- Organized First Southpaw Shootout Pool Tournament
- Solicited donations for Dohrnbechers children’s hospital
- The Southpaw Shootout 2
- Went to over thirty businesses asking for gift cards to auction off for Dohrnbechers children’s hospital
- Almost $500 raised in the two events
